Many software products have “report writers” built in which allow existing reports to be re-designed or new reports created. In some circumstances, data may be rekeyed into other products such as Excel. – which can be laborious, time consuming and prone to error. Other software products exist which can take the data from your accounting software and populate the reports in Excel automatically.
