National Minimum Wage – make sure you are not falling foul of the rules

Around 63,000 people were out of pocket to the tune of £5 million in the latest announcement by the government of 202 employers “named and shamed” for failing to pay the minimum wage. 39% deducted pay from workers’ wages, 39% underpaid for worker’s time and 21% paid the incorrect apprenticeship rate.
